Year 12 Biology AS Level

We follow the OCR Human Biology Syllabus.  There is a biology fieldtrip to Cranedale in Yorkshire at the end of year 12.  This develops pupils’ practical and investigative skills, and also prepares them for coursework and the Environmental Module in year 13.

There are 3 units in year 12:

Foundation Biology

Human Health & Disease

Transport

Pupils take 1 modular exam in January and 2 exams in June.
