A-level Applied Business
The current Year 13 are completing the Edexcel Syllabus. Students following the single A-level complete three units in Year 12 and another three in Year 13. Those following the double A-level complete the single units and an additional three units in both Years 12 and 13.

Double A-S Level Applied Business
Unit 4: Investigating electronic business (coursework)
Unit 5: Investigating customer service (coursework)
Unit 6: Investigating promotion (external examination)
Single A-Level Applied Business
Unit 8: Business development (coursework)
Unit 10: Marketing decisions (external examination)
Unit 11: Impact of finance on business decisions (coursework)
Double A-Level Applied Business
Unit 9: Managing and developing people (coursework)
Unit 12: International dimensions of business (coursework)
Unit 14: External influences on business (coursework)
All the units contribute equally to the final grade. Most A-level Business lessons are taught in ICT rooms and make use of real world businesses and information so the learning is applied to real businesses or case studies.
