In Year 12 we have switched from September 2007 to the OCR Syllabus and are running the single A-level.  Students following the single A-level complete three units in Year 12 and another three in Year 13.

A-S Level Applied Business

Unit 1: Creating a marketing proposal (coursework)

Unit 2: Recruitment in the workplace (coursework)

Unit 3: Understanding the business environment (external examination)

A Level Applied Business

Unit 9: Strategic decision-making (external examination)

Unit 10: A business plan for the entrepreneur (coursework)

Unit 12: Launching a business online (coursework)

All the units contribute equally to the final grade. Most A-level Business lessons are taught in ICT rooms and make use of real world businesses and information so the learning is applied to real businesses or case studies.
