Overview:

Year 11 continue to have 5 ICT lesson in two weeks. Some students have 10 ICT lessons over a fortnight. This builds on the work covered in Year 10. We offer the OCR National course to them in KS4. OCR offers equivalents of 1 or 2 GCSEs, or more in Year 12.

The suite of OCR qualification is designed to:

• Develop students’ ability to select and use digital applications appropriately and produce high quality outcomes; 

• Promote the use of digital applications for achieving a goal, rather than for their own sake;

• Enhance creativity and communication.
