We at Longdean School aim at challenging all pupils with
all levels of ability and therefore we run a dedicated
programme for gifted & talented children.
Longdean School have committed and trained teachers for
G&T that deliver differentiated lessons to stretch all
learners so that pupils can access more challenging
lessons in all of the subjects we teach.
In addition by offering
gifted and talented pupils a range of exciting out of
school opportunities in their area we ensure that we
provide extra support for them to meet their full
potential.
For this purpose
we run a
specific G&T agenda.
As Longdean School has a culture and ethos that values
high achievement, we regularly share with parents and
our community what has been happening. Pupils are proud
of their talents as well as what they learn and they
want to talk about it. Pupils’ enthusiasm for the
programme shows how rewarding it is to continuously look
for further challenges and events for them.
