Aims

These underpin both the strap line and vision statement. The aims are how we will achieve our vision.

These will be addressed within the School Three Year Strategy, One Year School Improvement Plan (SIP) and the Department and Pastoral Improvement Plans (DIP/PIP)

We want every member of the Longdean Community to:

• Have fun and enjoy their learning
• Feel safe and secure in a learning environment of which they are proud  
• Be inspired, challenged and motivated
• Support and value each other
• Share in and celebrate everyone’s success
• Develop independence, confidence and self-esteem to enable them to make the most of their abilities
• To develop the ability to make informed choices about lifestyle
• Raise their awareness of and celebrate all cultures in the school and the local community
• To understand the part they play in supporting the wider community
