Week beginning |
Why then? |
|
11 |
28th September 2009 |
This is to ensure that the Year 11 students are
fully focused on their target grades and what
they are trying to achieve over the coming
academic year. It allows for very concise and
accurate targets to be set. In addition to this
Year 11s will also have a Parents Evening and
Mock Exam Assembly in January 2010 to help them
to refocus their attention. |
|
10 |
23rd November 2009 |
This is to allow the Year 10 students to become
familiar with their level 2 (i.e. GCSE & BTEC)
and other courses. The Year 10 parents evening
is to be held in May 2010 so leaving enough time
for students to show progress in meeting the
targets set during the academic tutorial. |
|
9 |
7th December 2009
|
The Year 9 Options talk is on the 17th November
2009. The tutorial meetings are during this week
so that Options can then be discussed with form
tutors. Year 9 Parents evening is held on 25th
February 2010. |
|
8 |
29th March 2010
|
Year 8 Parents Evening is to be held on 13th
October 2009. The tutorials are to be held
during this week to spread out the time that
parents have to visit the school. |

|
20th April 2010 |
Year 7 students and parents have several
meetings at school over the course of the year
including settling in forums and a Parents
Evening to be held on 19th January 2010. This
date was selected to allow for equal gaps in
time between parents visiting the school |
